Shady Grove Fertility is the largest fertility clinic in the country with 28 locations throughout MD, PA, VA and Washington D.C. Clinics are now underway in Florida and in Chile South America, with plans for a facility in China.

E4H provided full design services for the Rockville, MD space, a 50,000SF relocation and expansion of the practice’s largest IVF lab and surgery center in the Mid-Atlantic. The patient-focused interior design considered the high-stress infertility can bring and featured a calming palette. New finishes were selected with low volatile organic compounds including mastics and sealants which can interfere with reproductive health. The new space focused on improving the overall experience for patients, many of whom need to visit the facility daily to be monitored. Waiting rooms are flooded with natural light and feature custom built-in benches and a variety of other seating options divided by translucent panels. Floating custom beverage stations offer tea and water to waiting patients.
