The Children’s Health Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialty Center brings exceptional pediatric care to families in the Richardson, Texas area. The 9,115SF Specialty Center offers a variety of services such as physical and occupational therapy and speech language pathology. In addition, the facility offers clinics for behavioral health and early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder.

Planning and designing spaces for a child requires a special understanding and appreciation for both the young users and their families.   This facility required designing for a wide range of age groups—infants to teenagers—all with unique needs.  Each department within the facility was designed with special interest in providing the appropriate level of safety, playfulness, education, and efficiency to users and staff alike.
