Northeast Georgia Health System recently broke ground on a new hospital in Dahlonega, GA, as featured in Becker’s Hospital Review.  Northeast Georgia Medical Center Lumpkin will provide  24/7/365 emergency care to Dahlonega and surrounding communities, including inpatient care and supporting imaging, lab and pharmacy services. The 66,000SF facility features 16 private inpatient rooms, 10 state-of-the-art emergency treatment rooms, four dedicated observation rooms, a fast-track area, and a separate entrance and exit. Three operating rooms and one procedural suite to support orthopedics, sports medicine, general surgery and other services. Café and dining area.  Read the  article.
