The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) David H. Koch Center is a 1.2MSF facility designed to offer patients a comprehensive continuum of outpatient and inpatient services from diagnosis through treatment and long-term care. The new Ambulatory Surgery Suite supplements the existing Interventional Radiology Suite to support MSKCC’s increasing demand for outpatient surgical and gastro-intestinal procedures.

The new 3-OR surgical suite located on the 5th floor shares patient intake and family waiting functions with the existing IR suite on an adjacent floor, while the new suite highlights an enhanced patient experience with private prep and recovery positions offering patients privacy and outstanding views of the NYC skyline. Patient lifts are installed in each patient position as well as within the ORs supporting MSKCC’s commitment to staff and patient safety. Additionally, the staff lounge on the 10th floor will be expanded to support this new program, providing hospitality-like amenities. Interiors by ICRAVE.
