Virginia Hospital Center’s New 4A Patient Unit Opens

Congrats to Virginia Hospital Center’s new 4A Patient Unit. The 17,300SF state-of-the-art, 21-bed patient unit is 60% larger than their other units, with patient rooms over 30% larger in size than their standard rooms. Design features to enhance healing and treatment were implemented for both patients and caregivers. The unit’s ventilation system was modified in response to COVID to allow for remote conversion from positive to negative pressure, providing an extra layer of protection for patients and staff.
