HUNSTMAN MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTE CLINIC

Three clinics are housed within this The Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) location. They include The HOME Program (Neurobehavior HOME Program), Autism Clinic, and Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic. This clinic was previously two separate clinics that consolidated to a new space in order to combine resources and administration. Careful thought was given specifically to security, safety, confidentiality, visibility, and durability. Unique features that were incorporated for sound control are full height walls, high NRC and CAC ceiling panels and white noise. Other features for security are intercom and emergency alert systems as well as access control for certain doors as well as security cameras. All materials and design including artwork were carefully considered to ensure that patients with unique challenges would remain safe and that staff safety could also be prioritized.
