UF Health Jacksonville Plans First Free-standing ER

University of Florida (UF) Health will build its first free-standing emergency department in Northwest Jacksonville. The project as a ground-up free-standing emergency department to provide 24-hour emergency medical treatment and urgent care. The facility includes 10 exam rooms and trauma/resuscitation, CT scan and X-ray rooms as well as support, mechanical, administrative and public areas. Read the article.
