The Residences at Kenilworth Park exemplify E4H and MOREgroup’s dedication to creating mission-driven, efficient, and value-based solutions for our communities.
“This is exactly what I have in mind when I think about senior living in Washington, D.C.” Mayor Muriel Bowser recently shared these remarks at the grand opening of the Residences at Kenilworth Park on June 3, 2024. The new project aims to address the critical need for more assisted living facilities in DC, and it is the 2nd largest of its type in the area.
To accommodate the needs of senior citizens, the Residences at Kenilworth Park are designed with easier connections to essential services like grocery stores and DC public transit. The project also encourages connection among residents: A large rear terrace of the main dining room offers outdoor activity spaces and new avenues for connection. A pedestrian pathway and bike path encourage one to leave the car at home and visit the adjacent Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens or nearby Anacostia Park.
Assisted living communities are more cost effective to operate than nursing homes and produce better outcomes for all. As a result, other jurisdictions will likely establish incentives to make the Kenilworth model more affordable, and E4H currently has similar projects already in progress.
Thanks to its affordability initiatives, Kenilworth is available to a diverse range of aging residents. The community offers housing, health care, meal services, and personal assistance to D.C. residents aged 60 and older. With this comprehensive menu of resident services, Kenilworth is a community that truly fosters holistic wellness.
E4H and our MOREgroup family of brands are proud to deliver impactful, transformative design and create facilities that enhance the well-being of patients, staff, families, and our communities.
