HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL SHAO LAB RENOVATION

This 3,600SF renovation of existing office and laboratory space is located on Harvard Medical School’s Boston Campus. The Shao Lab studies the chemical biology science of protein biosynthesis, a complex process encompassing multiple forms of protein modification. This complex process of protein modification required a programmatic response of specific open and closed lab spaces. Space limitations required a solution centered on close functional proximities and an efficient operational flow.
