REHABILITATION HOSPITAL OF OVERLAND PARK

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park’s 45-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serves the unmet local bed need for patients who have experienced brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic injuries, and other serious rehabilitation cases. The freestanding hospital is conveniently located one block north of High­way 435, the major east-west highway in Overland Park, Kansas.

The Rehabilitation Hospital features a specially designed unit that provides care for head trauma and Parkinson’s disease. The hospital also hosts programs to help patients who have suffered from sports injuries, motorcycle or auto injuries, war veteran head injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and hip and knee replacements. The mission of the development is for all services necessary for recovery to be located on-site. All decisions regarding the design of the facility sought to provide a comfortable atmosphere for the patients and their families.
