NEWYORK-PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL HERBERT IRVING PAVILION

This two-floor renovation required the relocation of medical practices from one floor to another in order to improve adjacencies and circulation to the new Heart Center.

The design unified the cardiology practices across a single floor of the two buildings, while also providing easy access for other practices to the neighboring operating rooms. On each floor, open space reception and waiting areas bring natural light into the entire space and increase the functionality of the check-in and checkout processes. Offices, consultation rooms, exam rooms and labs accommodate a variety of practice groups, including Vascular Therapy & Surgery on one floor, and Bariatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Weight Management Medicine on the other floor.
