MARY WASHINGTON HOSPITAL HYBRID OR & SAME DAY SURGERY

This project for Mary Washington Hospital included the 12,500SF phased renovation of a hybrid OR suite that was adjacent to the existing cardiac cath labs and surgery suite. The renovation included the reorientation and upgrade of 8,000SF of same day surgery prep bays, nurse station and support spaces. The existing waiting room, reception was relocated, enlarged and enhanced. The OR suite and cath lab supply air, return air ductwork systems were relocated to free space for the new procedure room support steel, rail and room specific HVAC/utilities. The OR relocated ductwork was phased weekend work and the renovation work was done at night to minimize disruption to same day surgery operations.
