This extremely fast track project, including a 600 SF state-of-the-art Operating Room coupled with a 5,000 SF luxury inpatient suite, was designed for one of the best prostate surgeons in New York.

The operating room houses a da Vinci Robot, a robot designed for surgeons to perform minimally invasive surgery using small incisions with a magnified 3D high-definition vision system and tiny wristed instruments that bend and rotate far greater than the human wrist. There is an average of 15 surgeries performed each day in this operating room. The inpatient unit was designed to house 10 patients with all amenities that would resemble a hotel-like environment. The challenge was to provide a number of the features of a typical inpatient suite while creating a luxurious environment for each patient.
