EASTERN MAINE MEDICAL CENTER – PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY & INFUSION UNIT

The pediatric oncology & infusion unit serves pediatric patients being treated at EMMC’s Family Cancer Center.  The space was designed to create a playful and warm environment for the children and adolescents undergoing treatment. The private treatment areas, family spaces, and age-appropriate play areas all have ample natural light and hillside views.  A Ronald McDonald play room is also part of the treatment space and contributes to a cheerful setting for patients, staff, and families.
