Mental Health Awareness Month: AnMed Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, we bring attention to mental health and how essential it is to overall health and well-being. At E4H, we know that therapeutic environments can contribute to the healing process. A focus on creating a state of well-being guides design.

AnMed Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit located in Anderson, SC, is the first of our series highlighting environments for mental health and wellness.  This relocation and expansion of the existing Behavioral Health Unit on AnMed Health’s North Campus is a pivotal phase in a system-wide master plan, developed by E4H in 2019. The new behavioral health unit includes; Inpatient Geriatric Behavioral Health Suite with 22 private rooms, Adult Behavioral Health Inpatient Suite with 16 beds, Intensive Outpatient Suite, shared administrative space and conference areas, and shell space for future expansion.
