E4Hcares Dallas participated in CANstruction, an annual design and build event of giant canned food structures – “cansculptures” – benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). The theme was “Writing an End to Hunger” and E4H’s creation was inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar story. Now in its 30th year, CANstruction Dallas has provided millions of canned food items for the NTFB that are then distributed to their neighbors experiencing hunger, through NTFB’s feeding programs and feeding network of more than 400 food pantries and other community organizations.
